Born in 1977 in Stone Mountain Georgia, Andy Weeks began drawing and painting as a child. As a highschool student, Andy was invited to attend the Governor's Honors Program at Valdosta State University and went on to earn his BFA from The Atlanta College of Art in 2000. During this time, he received a number of awards including The Atlanta College of Art Board of Director's Award and the Gene Alcott Scholarship. Andy earned his MFA at Pratt Institute in 2007. He now exhibits his work throughout the United States and teaches Art and Art History at the Notre Dame School in Manhattan. Andy currently resides in Maplewood, New Jersey with his wife and dog.

Andy's paintings have been shown in numerous solo and group exhibions including a solo exhibition at Stripeman Gallery in Brooklyn, NY in 2009 and a group exhibition at the Baird Center in South Orange, NJ in 2011. His work is represented in a number of private and public collections throughout the United States.
